Praha - Conference with COST IFER meeting
Focusing on utilisation of software tools
Conference was focus on the application of advanced fire-resistant design methods, both manual and computational, for concrete, steel and timber structures. Particularly relevant themes was be fire modelling, simulation of the heat transfer between fire and structure, and modelling of structural behaviour at elevated temperatures using numerical methods or software implementations of the structural Eurocodes. Acknowledged experts and specialists in design against fire from all over the World were participating, thus offering a unique opportunity to share ideas and to acquire knowledge.

Barcelona Workshop
Integrated Fire Engineering and Response
COST action network number TU0904 in domain Transport and Urban Development
The workshop was organised to collect the results of the national projects in the field of fire engineering and to inform colleagues in the Action of the current status in Countries participating in the action.
